This blog is written by some of the many college level interns that find their way in to Gravity DesignWorks. Most of us discover our way here through school and use the internship as a learning experience; from everything from expanding our software skills to having our first client meetings. Today was one of many BBQ Chicken Pizza Fridays! It has become somewhat of a tradition among interns, and if I don’t say so myself is some of the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. In addition to having good food, Gravity DesignWorks is my favorite part of the week. From starting the day with a quick game of Foosball or losing a game of darts to Mark, it’s never a dull day.
Everyday here is a chance to learn something new. Even just today I learned a few nifty little Illustrator tricks to make designing that much easier. Which is always nice since I am currently working one on one with a client myself. This process has certainly been a first for me. Something beyond design a simple church flyer or school project. It has giving me the opportunity to go beyond what I have learned in school and gain experience I would have never otherwise had.
